Summary of My upcoming novel:

As General Manager of Ristorante Vito Allegro, Scotland Keyes is a master in his element, unflappable in the face of disgruntled diners and fussy staff alike. But when his beloved niece and star server, Shae Corbin, is found dead, Scotland’s world unravels. 

Not expecting much from the local police, Scotland’s surprised when he finds pugnacious Detective Roberta Lee, a victim of untreated PTSD, pursuing Shae’s killer alongside him. With the help of Scotland’s diverse circle of food and beverage friends, they dive into the underbelly of Savannah’s elite food scene; from Shae’s “vanilla” boyfriend and her undercover lover to the Petunia Dill family—local food royalty who don’t take kindly to Shae’s public accusations of racism.

Meanwhile, bodies continue to drop, and Scotland discovers Shae’s estranged father, a famous food critic, may have been responsible for her death.
